Fri-YAYS and autumn treats!

Hi! Let’s start the weekend with a simple and delicious recipe. I love fri-YAYS! I can spend some time experimenting in the kitchen or sometimes, just cooking something really yummy {like pizza} and having a beer/ wine while cooking. Put some music on and dance… but do not forget your pizza or whatever in the oven 🙂

I DO have a sweet tooth, I admit. These cookies are the perfect treat for autumn days: they are not only incredibly tasty but also super healthy. Here it goes, enjoy!


  • 300 gr. oats
  • 150 gr. whole-wheat flour or spelt/ conventional flour
  • 25 gr. sesame seeds
  • 25 gr. flaxseed
  • a pinch of cinnamon
  • a sweetener of your choice: I recently discover Sucolin and I am quite happy with it. I don’t usually put a lot of if (ca.50 gr maximum), so it is up to you how much you want to add
  • 150-200 dairy or non-dairy milk
  • 150-200 sunflower oil
  • Chocolate frosting (optional but for me essential :)): a good chocolate bar (for covering sweets and desserts) + some coconut oil

Combine all the dry ingredients first and then, add the rest. Stir well and bake for 20 minutes in the oven ( 180 degrees).

Let your cookies cool down for a while and prepare the frosting. Set a bowl over a pan with simmering water and allow the chocolate and coconut oil to melt, stirring occasionally. Cover your cookies with the chocolate frosting (make sure first that they are not warm anymore!) and …enjoy!
